Hello,
I, my girlfriend, Lilian, and Anne, our "finishperson", run a small woodturning on the banks of the Nolichucky river in Upper East Tennessee. We use discarded stumps, forked banches that are too tough for firewood, and the burls of trees. Using our lathe, we do a "makeover", changing these rough looking pieces of wood into works of art. Often the weirdest looking pieces of wood have the most vivid grain patterns and result in the most beautiful pieces. We hope that you see something that you like.
